Loved the place we stayed. The area and location. Just didn't like the dining options. Nothing for someone who has GF or food allergies. You could buy a salad but just 2 options for dressing.

The lodge itself was great. It was comfortable, clean, and of course convenient for a visit to Yellowstone. The food service was horrendous. After a day of hiking, I just wanted to sit down and have a meal. Nothing available but multiple cafeteria lines, long lines. Then after waiting in line for food you had to wait in another line to pay while your food was getting cold. The foos itself wasn’t bad. It was just a pain to get it. Also to care for a family of four in multiple lines. They also only had serving spoons for soup.Morning was even worse.

Room review

Towel rack is TOO HIGH...got to be Sasquatch to reach easily! We're only 5'4" and 5'5" and it was really a reach! Tub is elevated and was very hard for me to step into because I have Multiple Sclerosis and have trouble raising left leg. Normally not a problem but because it's elevated, it was very hard. It was OK to get OUT of. Loved the extremely upscale, heavy duty hardware on the bathroom handles and towel rack and hooks. Bed comfort was "OK", but very firm and you kind of roll back and forth when sleeping on your side. For extremely high price paid, was hoping for more comfortable bed.

Super convenient. Modern yet housed within the amazing Yellowstone National Park. Pricey for what it was - no frills/no complimentary breakfast/parking lot got full pretty fast so we had to park away from our lodge. We also had a small mixup at check in with the wrong lodge provided to us, so made for a rocky start. Room was comfortable and no complaints on the stay otherwise.
