It's important to note that my visit was in the off season. I can’t say what it would be like during the season with all activities available. I rented two rooms so my elderly father and I each had a place to stay.
Lodging was essentially a bunkhouse split into six small rooms each with a bathroom. The room itself served it's purpose: it was warm and a place to sleep. The bed was comfortable enough and the bathroom was in good condition.
I had two major complaints. First, the doors did not seem very secure. While the doors shut fully, the doorknobs to both rooms seemed very loose and shaky like it wouldn't take much to break them off. There was no secondary lock (deadbolt, etc.).
My bigger complaint was the lack of meaningful internet. Despite the listing saying "wi-fi available", the definition is apparently loose: it was non-existent in the rooms and I was only able to connect at all when I was right next to the main building/restaurant. With a lot of activities this may not have been an issue, but it was depressing in such a small room otherwise - not to mention that because cell service with a major carrier was also non-existent, I had no way to check on my father or for him to contact me if he fell, etc. When I asked about the wi-fi, the clerk shrugged and said, "yeah, it doesn't work around most of the rooms" and went back to reading his phone.
In sum, an adequate but unrelaxing stay. Under different circumstances it may be fun, but I don't plan to stay here again.
