We recently rented this property in Windsor and, unfortunately, our experience was far from what we had hoped for. While the location of the house was fantastic, the overall condition of the property left much to be desired, especially considering the high price we paid.To start, the shutters in the bedrooms were badly damaged and poorly fitted, which allowed streetlights to flood the rooms at night, making it nearly impossible to sleep. We immediately contacted Tempstay property management during the first hour of our stay, asking if they could provide covers to block the light, but we never received a response, and no one visited to address the issue.Additionally, the bed duvets were much too small for the beds, leading one of our guests to go out and purchase their own. The gas fires in two rooms hadn't been serviced in ages, and they were covered in dust, making them unusable. The front door had a gap around it, allowing cold drafts to flood into the house, and the door lock didn't work properly, meaning the house was only secured with a latch key—hardly reassuring.Another problem was the lack of mattress protectors on the beds or pillows, which is an absolute must for hygiene. The kitchen units were very old, in poor condition, and the kitchen gas hob wouldn't even light.
