As always in many hotels, the single rooms are small cramped and out of the way. However, it was very clean and tidy, but dated. The staff and service were great, and that I find is the best part of any hotel.

Extremely noisy airport hotel

We booked this hotel because we were flying from Manchester airport at 4am. They put us on a room above a function room the noise was so loud we could feel the vibrations. We asked to be moved but were told the hotel was full. The function didn’t finish until midnight and the people were banging doors, got virtually no sleep

A comfortable and safe place for a solo female traveler. Rooms clean and inviting. Staff always appear cheerful and are helpful. As a frequent user, I highly recommend the Pinewood. Very close to airport.

The staff were friendly and helpful which was the best part of our visit. The room was very tired and in need of refurbishment. We had one thin pillow each. It had an iron & board plus a safe but no fridge. There was an on site car park which cost £3.50 for 24 hours. The restaurant choice was ok but the food wasn’t good quality and we would not stay here again.

Room was clean apart apart from the toothbrush left from previous guest and the menu had fallen over knocking the glasses over. Beds /room very comfy , . Ironing board , iron , safe, hairdryer . Bar was lacking, needs cans of soft drinks and maybe some chocolate bars. Only has pints to take to room (soft drinks) and crisps

The greeting on arrival was friendly lots of recommendations for places to eat not too far from the hotel, room was ok only thing was it’s a bit noisy and that’s it otherwise no complaints would stay again and recommend it
