Everything, luxurious experience, the room was great and well equipped for everything you need. From our room we had a beautiful view of the garden area, the staff were polite and couldn’t do enough for you, the bar was great and the restaurant was beautiful too, brilliant service with great food
We stayed for New Year’s Eve and the staff were very accommodating and helpful.
We stayed with our new born and we were greeted with a lovely baby towel, wash and cot upon our arrival to the room.
Our stay was peaceful and just how we wanted to see in our new year. Staff allowed us to order a local takeaway and eat in our room & provided cutlery when the food arrived.
Breakfast was amazing and included various options.
The staff were lovely, so friendly and courteous. We were given an upgrade to a playground suite, which was beautiful.

Liked: Staff & service
Disliked: Cleanliness
Hotel and setting is lovely and has very high potential. However, the room was filthy, covered in dust on almost every surface. Door handle for the wardrobe was hanging off, bent and with a screw missing. The bed was covered in hairs. The carpet is covered in stains. Skirting board is resting against the wall with a huge gap behind. Marks and missing paint in several locations needs repainting. Blind in the room when put down is absolutely covered in dead squashed flies. Shower tray has a huge crack across it & needs replacing. Heating wasn’t working so electric heater provided (fair replacement but meant an incredibly dry air in the room). No lift/offer to help carry suitcases up 4 flights of stairs to the second floor. Felt very pressured to eat in their restaurant after having to fill out pre-arrival information, phone called to ask to dine there, asked again on check in & sent emails about dining there too.
Staff were friendly, breakfast included was delicious in fairness.
While the hotsl describes itself as ‘quirky’ I felt that this was a guise that suits them well. I bike a club select room but the too had frosted windows ! I was hoping for a chance to open windows and have some fresh air. Luckily the front desk guy changed my room to a lower class but I could at least see out, Don’t advertise and charge for park land views just to assign guests to rooms with windows that are frosted and don’t open. …. Think about your guests as people - also no face clothes, no shower toiletries, no ice unless requested - not completely sure how you got your rating but I would stay here again / just be sure to specifically request a room with a view ! Also no offer of my free bottle of wine - I asked as I checked out and finally this was offered …
An amazing boutique hotel which just works perfectly. A fabulous old building reimagined into a small amount of rooms with fabulous shapes and designed with thought and style. Quality abounds throughout and all makes for an amazing stay.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Service a little slow, few items not in room to standard
Nice boutique property located in the middle of a popular park. Good standard of accommodation and good price mid-week. Comfy rooms. Need to get rid of the crazy glass door to the bathroom. Very limited parking with over-spill across a dark pathway. Overall, would use again
