I stay at Wyndham hotels a lot and usually have very pleasant experiences. I always seem to book at a good price for a nice, decent facility. This one was under renovation and i wasn't aware. It was a bit disappointing because the workout room was small and the equipment wasn't in great shape. For breakfast, there were only bagels, bread for toast, yogurt, and some apples. The coffee wasn't really good and actually had a bunch of grounds in it. It was not the worst experience ever but it wasn't the Wyndham that I'm used to.

It was terrible the breakfast in the morning were not replenished. Got woken up to a fire alarm and had to wake up and go outside. Then I was stuck in the elevator for 20 minutes had to call 911 to have fire company come out because staff didn’t seem like they were too concerned of getting me out then when I did get out everyone went about there day didn’t check on me to see if I was ok or anything just disregarded what just happened.

Disappointing stay
Service was fine and the room was clean. That’s the only positive I have. First off, they’re remodeling. Had I known that, I would have picked a different hotel. Two, the room seemed to be equipped with the cheapest possible options. The metal bed frame screeched with every move, the pillows were thin and hard. The TV had a very poor picture quality and even the toiletries were of a very low quality. I was holding out on giving a bad review based on the free breakfast - which was advertised to be a “hot breakfast” with eggs, bacon, waffles, etc. Imagine mine and my 7 year old’s disappointment when breakfast was cereal and bagels with no cream cheese. I also observed the person re-stocking the bread for toast holding an armful of sliced bread while wearing no gloves. We stuck to cereal after that. Overall a very disappointing stay and I will definitely not be picking this hotel again.

Never again...to many other options in area
We specifically utilized this hotel due to their "breakfast" boasting but quickly learned, the 1st morning, that due to their on-going renovation, breakfast was limited to a foam bowel and cereal. Staff reported that this had been updated on the websites but we showed them it had not. The whole hotel is currently a mess with, what appears, construction workers living there while they rebuild the building. Every time we walked in we were redirected to a new pathway to get to our rooms. We did sight the construction workers drinking beer one afternoon as we returned. I'm assuming it should be nice when they finish, but probably not the place to stay at currently. Hopefully our newly renovated room will not be their final product as our sheets had stains all over them; the flooring was a tad short for the room, electrical outlets were loose, the bed was like sleeping on a rock, the pillows were extremely flat, etc, etc. We travel often, and never provide such a negative review, as we feel we can stay in most places without complaints, but not one time did we see a manager or were we provided with any alternatives to staying in a cleaner room: we had rented multiple rooms and other family members stated their's were actually worse than ours. Currently we say stay at your own risk....hopefully it will improve.

Front desk people were very friendly. The hotel was under construction. Vending machines were empty. Room had crumbs on shelves and on floor. Halls smelled like weed. It is a close 5-10 minute drive to restaurants.
