A big hotel, and at a great location. The hotel was as beautiful as I thought, and the food at the onsite restaurant was not very good. But overall, the staff was friendly, the room was clean and spacious. it’s a nice place to stay for the night.

Love the spa and the outdoor pools and the access to the Golden Horseshoe for Golf. We walked to Colonial Williamsburg and to William & Mary. Expensive but a very nice hotel.

Love staying here. Best place in Colonial Williamsburg near the college and shops great experience. The staff is outstanding. Very busy all the time but its a perfect experience. The SPA is to die for.

Excellent location. Clearly a high turnover hotel. Musty smell in hallways and garden level room so we requested a room change. Staff were very responsive and moved us without issue. New room was fine but still a dark room with musty smell in hallways.

I chose the lodge because of the location near colonial Williamsburg and the William and Mary campus. The location is great but the room was poor. It was very small, especially the bathroom which had no counter and poor lighting. The floor of the bedroom had very squeaky floor boards. I could hear people walking around on both sides and I am sure they could hear me. Also, I was charged $30 per day parking which I was not expecting.

Fine stay. But if you are located in one of the back rooms, it takes 5-10 minutes to walk from your room to the parking area—and they charge for parking… which should be better advertised. Place is just okay.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities

My room is a rabbit hutch. The bathroom is closet sized. It has a mirror one quarter size of normal. The room needs renovation. This seems to be a convention center and there is a lengthy wait for a breakfast table. The place is less than ordinary. I was told parking was $25. When I arrived it was raised to $30. Tourist trap
