I really enjoy staying at DoubleTree because they consistently provide a comfortable and relaxing experience. The beds are incredibly cozy, which makes for a great night’s sleep, and the bathrooms are always spotless and well-maintained. Have stayed in this hotel occasionally since the late eighties. It's been a long time since my last stay and it feels a bit tired and in need of a refresh. Also, the charge for parking in an open parking lot with no valet is insane. We'll definitely be looking, but for a different place to stay next go around and that makes me sad.

Definitely not the best hotel I've stayed in. My room on the 2nd level had flaws. The thermostat said it was 72° but it definitely felt hotter. I was sweating in my sleep, which i don't do when I'm at home in 72° ambient temperature. No fridge or microwave in my room, which i usually have in all my other hotels I've booked. 2 things I didn't like that was my fault for not reading in the amenities section were no free complimentary breakfast and paid parking that was $12 a day. But the good things were, the first floor/lobby level was amazing! Awesome bar, plenty of conference rooms and auditoriums. In my honest opinion, I would only recommend people to book here if they want to be super close to Busch Gardens for multi day visits, or if your organization is booking the conference rooms and auditoriums and you're from out of town so staying here will be super convenient. And this review is me being honest.

The cleanliness for the hotel is always 5 stars. Never have been where it hasn’t been. This hotel is the best compared to competitors.

Location of property is convenient to Busch Gardens and delivery food options. The price of the stay was comparable to other hotels in the area, the difference here is because most of the amenities and brand standards that you’d expect from a Hilton Doubletree were missing. The hotel room has a dated layout with very limited lighting and no options to adjust. The bathroom was wrought with mechanical issues including a toilet not properly affixed to wall, no moisture ventilation in bathroom and the in room refrigerator was barely functional. Our room was on first floor and every morning when walked out and the hallway smelled of sewage seepage. The only microwave near our room was in the main lobby. There were multiple electrical outlets not working, which limited our ability to charge electronic devices and use the in-room coffee machine. The noise immediately above our room was loud at all hours with children running and screaming down the hallway till 2am. The pool which was adjacent to our first floor room was loud at all hours and there were people throwing balls in water and no hotel staff oversight of the pool area aside from clean towels being available. The hotel was booked to capacity therefore no chance to change room. There are several hotels in the area that are comparable in price with newer accommodations, and baseline amenities included like an in-room microwave, refrigerator and complementary breakfast buffet. This will be the last Hilton I stay in.
