For as much as you pay to stay here, not much is included. No wifi, no tv, no daily room cleaning unless you ask, and breakfast isn’t included (it cost $45 just for my husband and I to get the breakfast buffet). The room was clean and comfortable though. Pros and cons of staying in the park.

The wifi service was completely unavailable in the hotel in a places that dont have cellular signal in the entire park. In addition, the dining restaurant had very poor food and service.

Facilities are worn and no Internet or cell service except at the registration office. Beautiful grounds close to the lake. Also very convenient to get to the hydrothermal features at West thumb, only 2 miles north. The food at the two restaurants is not great, but go up to the general store and cafe and eat there.

Poor for the price. Staff unfriendly at registration. Very small room, shower curtain smelled sour, very few electrical outlets for charging electronics, no TV or internet. Internet in main lobby did not work. Was not told in advance you needed a reservation for the restaurant like we were at the West Yellowstone Inn.

The room was filthy. Dust everywhere, hair on the bathroom floor and dirty counter tops in bathroom. The entire building is outdated and creepy. I knew that there was no AC, no TV etc. but for as expensive as it is to stay in the park at this location, there is no excuse for a dirty room. We left a day early because it was gross. Canyon lodge is a much better option for staying in the park.

Check in was easy. Staff were very nice. I was pleasantly surprised by the accommodations. The rooms were very comfortable. No elevator so bringing our luggage to the 2nd floor was a little inconvenient but not a big deal. Dining options were close by and were very good. Nice view of the lake! Didn’t know how my husband would survive without tv but he did, lol. We did enough hiking during the day to tire ourselves out. Would highly recommend this property if you’re planning on visiting Yellowstone!

1. Since property is inside Yellowstone National Park, so you don't have to waste time in stepping out and in of park which saves lot of time. 2. Property was clean. 3. 2 dinning options but very expensive and less item to choose . 4. Obvious you can't cook anything which is drawback. 5. We saw elk just stepping out of our room.
