Below Deck was the perfect rental for our Maine beach trip. The photos and description are very accurate. It's a cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom so it was exactly the right size for the two of us. There is a nice living area with a small dining table with 3 chairs, and a kitchenette that had a sink, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, and several small items we didn't use (ex. toaster, blender). The furniture was stylish, and the place was clean. We were provided plenty of bath towels, TP, paper towels, napkins and really just needed to get coffee, filters, and milk at the grocery store for our first day (plus snacks of course!). As mentioned in the listing the ceilings are short but am 5'5" so it was not an issue but please do be advised if you are tall you would hit your head on the door jam.We were so pleased to have beach chairs and other items available to us (just remember to bring your own beach towels). The walk to the beach couldn't be easier (close enough that we stayed on the beach the whole day and was a quick walk to come back just for a bathroom break). Wells is a lovely town and enjoyed the quiet residential atmosphere and had great restaurant options within a couple miles plus the supermarket was a quick car ride to stock up. Wells was an easy jumping off point for going to Ogunquit, Kennebunk, a day trip up to Portland, etc. The communications with the owner were outstanding, so quick to respond and very open to answering our questions.
