Mediocre property. Just another Lark property bought up by a private equity that owns most of the B and B’s in Maine. They destroyed what was once wonderful places to stay with all of their properties. The breakfasts used to take care and passion for cooking. Now they all serve the same continental food. Eh. I need to stop staying in Kennebunkport, even for the one night before heading north.

Wonderful KPT Experience

Clean, comfortable modern well appointed room steps away from Dock Square. The folks at AWOL made us feel like the most important guests they've ever had. Great communication, accommodating and wanting to go the extra mile. Highly recommend AWOL, we look forward to our next visit!

This place was such a weird vibe I can’t explain it. The property was nice enough, save for some dead trees. We have stayed at other buildings of Lark and frankly have not had the best stays. This will be the end of staying in Kennebunkport Lark Hotels for us. The rooms were musty air quality, like a basement. The mattress was hard and lumpy. Pillows and sheets were good. The furniture was weird as hell and the tv was the size of an iPad. I found the whole place depressing and we left early. The coffee in the room and at the lame breakfast was also undrinkable. All that and you overpay a ridiculous amount of money. Never again!!

The service in this hotel was very good. The breakfast was excellent. The room however was not great. We had a room with. King size bed. The room was too small. There was only a two-feet space around the bed! So there was no chairs or any table in the room. The mattress was also extremely poor. It sagged completely on one side so while sleeping, it felt like you are in a hammock! I would have rated this hotel as excellent if the room was slightly larger and the king size mattress was not as bad as it was.

My stay at the AWOL was wonderful - I especially enjoyed the deluxe cabin. Coffee in front of the fireplace in the morning was lovely, and the bed in the deluxe cabin was very comfortable.

Lovely location a couple of blocks off Dock Square in Kennebunkport. Room 14 has a king bed, fireplace and a beautiful deck looking out to the garden. This is the second time here in this room. We love it.
