The room was nice. Pillows could be updated. (staying in the 400s) Staff was friendly. Like most hotels/motels these days, the more you look the more you see could use a touch up with maintenance. Example is paint around the moldings, caulk holes, etc. Breakfast was mediocre. Bagels, english muffins, cereal, milk, oj, cheap coffee, small danishes. Nothing out of this world fantastic. Gets the morning going. Lobby of main building's bathroom had a stench problem. Like someone took a massive dump on the floor. Which was slightly comical yet unimpressive.

We stayed here 2 nights. I wish the staff when reservations are made ask if we had a senior citizen with us. We were on the 3rd floor and with no elevator (which we didn't know) and a 88 year old lady, it was hard for her to come and go. The stairs are narrow and steep.

Charming hotel

Nice hotel, rooms are found in 2 different building - main hotel building is nicer than outbuilding. Rooms outdated but functional and comfortable bed. Very good location in the center of Kennebunkport.
