I was assigned to a room where none of the outlets worked nor the TV. I was reassigned rooms, where things worked but the hotel doesn’t provide washcloths. This is something nice to know before check-in.

They do not have wash clothes and refular toilet paper , this should be a part of the description. I loved the led lights when they worked and the ring light. Staff was amazing. Parking area is small very tight

Outstanding Hotel Staff

A friend and I met in DC and had lovely time together. Yotel is a convenient location, especially to Union Station. We easily walked to Chinatown and had easy access to the Metro. I want to comment on the front desk staff who patiently and professionally help my friend and I settle our bill. We dealt with her several different times (because she was so helpful in the past) and she never disappointed. I even asked to speak with her manager because of her skills. Hospitality is a stressful business, bit everyone at this hotel want above and beyond to be friendly and attentive.

Always a good stay at this hotel. This is my second time staying here and the staff is always friendly and the rooms are always neat and tidy. My favorite thing is the LED light that’s glows in the room.

Our stay at Yotel was great. It’s in a walkable location, steps away from union station. The room was very clean and I loved the decor. The only thing that I wasn’t prepared for was that they don’t provide wash cloths. I’d definitely stay here again when in D.C. and bring my own wash cloth haha.

Check in was great. We were greeted by Makayla and she was just full of life and very informative and efficient. Staff at the restaurant was less inviting. Good was mediocre and drinks were pretty pricey. The room was clean however I did notice a lot of scuff marks on each room door coming through the hallway and bleach stains. Very basic room with no refrigerator or microwave. Dirty windows made the view a bit less clear. No frills stay is what I would describe it as.

Luggage storage-room personel stole my wallet.

I will have to mention as we used the service of the luggage room a few hours before we checked in an a few hours after we checked out 2 days later. I didn’t notice until I got back to Chicago that a wallet-purse from the bottom of my bag was missing. I am 98% sure it was removed from my bag in the luggage room. I had some cash and credit cards and others things of value in it. As I had another cell-phone case with creditcards with me I didn’t end up needed my extra wallet and forgot to check it was still in my bag.

Disappointing

Nice hotel from the standpoint of gym, room, space, TV lighting and bathroom. But no coffee in room or anywhere in the hotel (other than the bar). $35 extra hotel fee per night (why again)? They think by adding a $10 credit at the bar that it would be beneficial, it is not. It’s a different type of hotel, for those that might like this type, but if you are expecting service from a hotel that charges this much.. this is not it. Not worth the money frankly.
