Very convenient for sight seeing , walkable and clean. Only thing is that if you come during the weekend there isn’t a lot of places to eat around the hotel most of the places were closed when I was there.

Small rooms but comfortable and well appointed. Easily walkable to The National Mall and other DC areas of interest. Room has storage, small desk, and comfortable bedding. Everything you need if you’re going to be out and about for the most part. Walk to the Smithsonian Air and Space museum was about seven minutes. Longer walk to White House, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial and others but enjoyable on a nice day. iPad to control the room was a bit gimmicky and delayed but did work the entire time unlike other hotels I’ve stayed at with similar setups.

I liked this property so much I created a Tiktok about my experience at elleprinceofficial. The room felt like a spaceship with the surround sound and lighting settings. The bed was very comfortable and I appreciated the coziness of the space as a solo traveler. I wouldn't recommend sharing the king room with a friend or a child older than 8. Best for one person, couple, or parent and young child. I really enjoyed all of the art, and the restaurant downstairs had great coffees.

Not Going the Extra Mile

The shower would not turn off after showering the morning of the first of two days. I reported the issue. When returning in the evening, the water was no longer running; however, in the morning the water would not turn on at all. It had been shut off at the source, so I could not shower before leaving that morning to lead a seminar all day. I would have thought that management might have transferred me to another room knowing that a shower could not be taken the next morning, which was a disappointment. That would have been extraordinary service for the fee paid. As it was, expected service in such a situation was not provided.
