Very close to the national mall — so everything was pretty walkable. It was located in a good neighborhood. Room could’ve been a tad bit cleaner as I found things from the previous person in the room… make you wonder if it was thoroughly cleaned.

Price was great, staff was nice, and the hotel was clean. The rooms are small yet super cute. The aesthetic is absolutely amazing. However, it would be even better if the bar had more food options and what’s there wasn’t so expensive. We spent $12 on a coke, sprite and sparkling water. The hotel is not located near any stores or restaurants within walking distance so we spent a lot of money on Lyft and Door Dasher and lot of time walking in the cold. If you drive there I guess it’s better for that, but at the same time, finding parking would be a little problem. There is a Subway across the street but we never caught them open within 48hours of being there. Maybe bring your own food and drinks.

Love the consistency with the Citizen M chain. Have stayed with citizen M in Amsterdam and London and this one is set up just the same. I miss the real meals at lunch and dinner. Our Washington hotel just has pizza, bar snacks, and breakfast. I wish the night light didn’t glow in the bathroom. It wakes me. We finally figured out how to just turn on the light under the bed over the drawers but this took 3 steps to do. Would like a darker curtain in front of the shower OR a dimmer light under the bed or desk that we could use as a nightlight.
