Staff and cleaniness. Stafd was awesome! Rooms a little small but doable. Also, you have to ask for wash clothes, cups and water bottle. No coffee maker or microwave in room.

Room was clean and simply but nicely furnished. They use an iPad to control all the devices in the room, but there was no way to turn on the "bathroom" light by itself.the lighting was all or nothing. The bathroom was a frosted glass inclosure.. trendy but not so pleasant.. The room is excellent for 1 person but crowded for 2. The bed goes from wall to wall so you have to get in bed in order, and to get out you should have to climb over the person that was on the room side of the bed. There were not glasses or mugs to drink from, and no washclothes. If you need just a clean place to crash at a DC reasonable rate, it's perfect.

The room was spotless , it was my 2nd visit in 4 months. Location is perfect , 15 minutes from DCA ( if you using metro ). Staff is very friendly and I would definitely stay there again.

CitizenM is my favorite hotel no matter which city I’m visiting! It was my first time staying at the Washington D.C. Capitol location and my stay was simply enjoyable. The hotel was relatively quiet and I felt safe and at peace which is important when I’m solo traveling!
