We liked the location, close to restaurants and cafes. The view from the window was nice, but walking the stairs was a bit challenging. The chairs were not comfortable for lounging after returning from a day out. The only place to lounge was the bed, which is hard to read and lie in the bed.

Great, friendly service. Easy check in and parking. Great location. Love the fully equipped kitchen in the apartment. The mattresses on the beds however, were really hard and uncomfortable. And the pillows weren't great either. My husband and I struggled to sleep at all because we were so uncomfortable to the point where it caused significant back pain. Would be so much nicer with a major mattress upgrade - and we'll be trying somewhere else next time because of this.

Unit was a good size and there was a TV in the bedroom. A little run down and room was not the one we were expecting.

We found our stay here a little disappointing. I guess since it has quite a high star rating, we were expecting a little more. It is in a good location as it's close to shops, cafes, restaurants etc. The room, however, was quite small. I assume the star rating also covers what the property offers and not just the quality of the rooms. We have stayed at lower star rated properties with much better rooms, so I guess in the end, star ratings don't really give accurate guidelines. Nothing happened that was bad, we were just disappointed and glad we were only staying one night.

A hotel has its star rating based on varying factors, and physical size of the room does not play a big part in this rating. Our One Bedroom Executive Apartments are over three times the size as the Studio Room that you booked, and come with a full kitchen (including oven, dishwasher and full size fridge), large living and dining area, balcony, laundry facilities and king size beds. Our Executive Apartments are certainly our favourite room types with our regular guests, and so perhaps might be something for you to look in to when you are next in the area.
