A true nature escape, this wooden home has more of a mountain-house feel than a classic Cape Cod cottage. It’s surrounded by trees, where you may spot deer, hear birds, and occasionally see a spider or two, all while enjoying the calm and privacy of being immersed in nature.

ACCESSIBLE: The first floor features three bedrooms, including the primary with an attached accessible bathroom.

DOG-FRIENDLY: under 20 lbs; over 20 lbs considered case by case.

Just minutes from beaches, shops and restaurants, but worlds away from summer crowds and Cape Cod traffic. Ideal for families, large groups, boaters, and remote workers, this 4-bedroom, 3-bath retreat sleeps up to 8 comfortably (plus a bunk bed in the basement for children - request before booking) and offers direct access to Buzzards Bay from your private dock.

Bring your own boat or rent one nearby to explore the coast by water (best suited for shallow-draft boats due to water depth) — then return home to grill on the deck, take in the water views through wall-to-wall windows, or unwind in the basement game room.

* Shaded by tall trees — cool and breezy in summer, plus portable AC

This is a very comfortable house. It was so relaxing and peaceful sitting in the living room watching the water. We totally enjoyed our days here. The kitchen is very well stocked. The owners were very quick to respond to any questions. A nice vacation rental.
