Clean rooms, staff was very friendly and the ocean views were great! Balcony in the off season wasn’t so great with the dirty shields that left only inches to really see anything. Book the first floor! Will come back.

The hotel was pretty basic, but honestly, it could use quite a bit of updating. There’s noticeable wear and tear throughout the property, and it felt a bit dirty. Being right on the ocean, I understand the challenges with moisture and upkeep, but there were several spots on the floor that felt damp and even spongy when walking on them. At times it felt a little unsafe and uncomfortable. This place could really use some updating — not only for the visual and aesthetic feel, but also because certain areas just don’t feel very safe. What I mean by that is some of the floors felt spongy, almost like you were walking on a trampoline in spots, even up on the deck. The staff were very nice and understanding, and I do appreciate that. I grew up in New England, so I get that beach hotels can take a beating from the salt air — but this one could really benefit from a proper refresh. It’s in a great location, but the rooms are very dated and could use some attention.

Perfect place to relax

I love this hotel! How can you go wrong when you’re overlooking the ocean? My room was in the newly renovated side and it was beautiful! Breakfast is very simple; make your own waffles, some cereal and breads, etc. The indoor pool / hot tub - you can’t miss it! Even if it’s a thousand degrees outside and the ocean is screaming your name, give the hot tub a try.

When we checked in I used the public bathroom in the lobby. That smelled heavy of urine. The lobby smelled like it was just sprayed down with some fragrance spray. I should have known then how the rest was gonna go. Our room had a weird smell I can’t even describe it. There were dead gnat looking bugs in the window. The window was so water marked up you can’t even hardly see the bay. You might as well not even get a shower. The shower head just sprays one stream out. The bathroom light/fan combo was so loud we just used the heat light for a light when in the bathroom. The beds were not comfortable. You hear very sound in the hall. Slamming doors and people above us sounded like they were coming thru the ceiling everytime they walked. Hardly slept because of every sound you hear. You can see light thru the room doorframe. I will not be staying here again.
