Easy, quick check in. Pet friendly with nice area for dogs right behind the hotel. Very sound proof rooms. Wonderful room darkening shades. Great pool for a quick dip. Comfy beds. Traveled with 2 dogs, 10 adults, 2 kiddos. Had 4 rooms all near each other. Just awesome!!

I enjoyed the location - it was very close to shopping areas and other fun places. Didn’t enjoy the noise that sounded like mice in the air conditioner. That kept us up most of the night. My husband mentioned this to the front desk.

Noise!

We were next to the "machine room" and it made noise all night long. In room AC was loud. Got about 4 hours sleep. Complained the next morning and was told "Sorry".

We have been staying at Hampton Inn New Bedford annually for years as relatives live in the area. The renovations are nice, and weblook forward to more. We like the convenience of Fairhaven and the shopping nearby, and the Whaling Museum is a must-see. The breakfast buffet is nice and plentiful, and the staff are very helpful. We had a problem with our window shade which kept our room dark the whole time, in spite of 3 calls to the front desk. Apparently no maintenance person was available, but we kept being told they'd send someone up right away. When checking out, they said the manager would give us extra points on our Hilton rewards account. Otherwise we were very happy with our stay and will be back again.

Housekeeping never cleaned room or replaced firty towels until i complainted. They front desk staff blamed me. I never once but the door hanger on my foor tge whole time during my stay. General manager even blamed me for the issue of my room not being cleaned.

We were put in room 214......beneath the window was a transformer that HUMMED ALL NIGHT making it super difficult to sleep. Wanted to let desk clerk aware, however with only one person working the desk was unable to because she was busy dealing with a young man for quite a while & we were on a time constraint, so we left without being to make the hotel aware of the inconvenience.
