This was the best part of our Hawaii trip. I wish we had stayed here the entire time. We actually enjoyed the fact that you will do a good bit of walking here. The tram is great (especially when hauling luggage), but, otherwise, we preferred to stroll the walkway, get some fresh air, and look at the art.

We enjoyed our room very much! It was newly renovated, so we ended up with a kitchenette! Listing says garden view, but we had a beautiful view that included the ocean! Felt like we were living in luxury with an affordable price. We hope to return someday!

Beautiful resort. Great location. Both the tram and the boats (which haven't ran in years) were not operating for 90% of our stay due to a recent tram accident. (We were told by the VRBO host that the boats were running. ??) Thankfully we are very capable of walking long distances without any issues. But this may not be the case for everyone. The Ocean Tower is a good hike from the main lobby. The room was great. Quiet. Minimum interaction with the staff. Check-in was easy. Parking is very pendy.

Was not informed that tram was unavailable during our stay, necessitating a mile walk from parking lot to check in and room throughout our stay. Check in service was below average, took over an hour (only 5 groups waiting to check in) as half the staff available was trying to push the time shares rather than checking in travelers. Very clean property, friendly staff and accommodating, exceptional sites and amenities on property for entertainment.

We spent a fabulous week here. Room was clean and provided everything we need. Amenities at the property were endless. We enjoyed the many pools, water slides, natural lagoon and beautiful landscaped grounds. The sunsets here were some of the most beautiful in the world. The only down size of our stay was the sheer size of the resort. It operates on a tram system however it was incredibly unreliable. This required us to walk to most places. There were stroller accessible route but they were much long then non accessible ones. The beauty and amenities provided by this property were wonderful enough to over look this and we would highly recommend it to others looking for a stay on the Big Island
