Hotel was very nice and clean and it has been updated. But our problem was that one of the cleaning lady stole money out of our suitcase and I did not realize it until I got home to find that my money was gone I always keep extra money in my suitcase in case of emergency and I usually keep it locked. But the one day we told the lady that she did not have to come in our room and clean or do anything just give us some clean towels. And I left my suitcase unlocked thinking they had no reason to come in. But while we were gone,they came in and thats when it happened. I didn't know until I got home So don't trust their cleaning lady.

The staff was friendly. However, the hotel itself is old and falling apart. The shower handle literally fell off when we turned on the shower. Every time we had to adjust the shower temp, the handle kept falling off in room 313.

It was a nice visit overall, a bit less of an experience than what we expected for the price paid for the room. Hotel needs a bit of upkeep. Wall hook fixture fell off as soon as we walked in the room, the towels were small and rough, and the sofa clearly had a stain on it. Folks there were nice, though. Would stay again, but will look for a better price to do so.

The Hampton Inn at the historic district was a wonderful place to stay. The dront drsk personnel was friendly, courteous, and helpful! The room was fantastic with all your modern convenience, such as a large under cabinet refrigerator, a nice sized microwave, and a very clean and organized coffee and tea station. The room was super clean and comfortable. Inwould highly recommend this particular hotel. You won't be disappointed!!

Our door on our room was broken. Looked as if it was broken in. Hard to open. Had to kick door to open. Made so much noise the other rooms Could hear. Also the beds were not queen as advertised. They were 1 queen and 1 full size.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was spacious and the sofa and table and chair was good for enjoying snacks and TV without being on the bed. Also had several mirrors where multiple people could do hair and makeup simultaneously. Also appreciated that their we’re charging stations and wall outlets in all the places one might want one.
