Above Expectations!
Pros:Staff, service, views, food, away from the noise of town. The Bathrooms are amazing, Spa is really affordable, the pool & gardens, in short everything
Cons:I would just put some fragrances in the room to counter balance the musty smell of humidity which is very common in Bali.
Location:rice fields around there, and close to Ubud town.
What a delightful surprise this Hotel was, everything from the staff to the finer detailed decor was just amazing. The room is so big and wait till you get into the bathroom it's just amazing! Gardens are lovely, so is the large pool and don't get me started on the rooftop Yoga studio with the loveliest view to the forest. Only a short drive to town (about 10 mins) the shuttle drivers always so curious and happy to accommodate. Breakfast buffet is very satisfying and good quality. The reception girls are truly delightful and always make you feel as if you are star. I had a surprise Birthday song from them all and also a cake. Now that's special treatment. Their Spa rooms are really lovely and the treatments are superb!!! Please try them out and price is very reasonable for what they offer. very kind, The manager is super attentive kind with excellent customer service skills he and is there to make sure your stay is 5 stars! I Loved it...simply loved it! I totally recommend.

Perfect hotel
Pros:Everything

Location:Udaya is a 5-10 minute drive from the centre of Ubud, and the hotel provides a free shuttle. We also used the free bikes to cycle to the rice paddies
Everything about Udaya was wonderful. The room, the amazingly friendly and courteous staff, the services and additional extras on offer (such as free bike hire, free afternoon tea, and free shuttle into the centre of Ubud). The location is great - far enough away to appreciate the peaceful green hills of Ubud, but only a 5-10 minute drive into the centre of the hustle and bustle. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. It is exceedingly well thought out and the pool/gardens/spa area are beautiful, as are the rooms. The staff treat you like family, welcoming you home after a day out and about, and waving you off in the morning. Breakfast is incredible - an amazing selection. And the restaurant serves a range of delicious dishes throughout the day. This would be super romantic for couples (huge baths overlooking the gardens, showers with no walls) but I was with a friend and we still loved it. I can't wait to return.

Seclusion Day typically falls in March or April (dates subject to change each year). Check-in and check-out will not be possible on that date. Ngurah Rai Airport (Bali International Airport) is also closed on Seclusion Day.
