The beauty of this resort is as shown when booking. But being there amongst the greenery and aesthetically pleasing spaces is even betterā€¦ Most of the staff was very approachable & helpful especially our concierge (Alonso). The dining facilities we found to be inadequate for such a huge resort and a 24 hours buffet would have made our stay more relaxed than having to rush for meals before closing. This will certainly prevent the long wait times and the hassle for servers as was experienced. Tulum is paradise!

Me and my friend had a wonderful time. The resort is very well maintained, very pretty. All the buildings are connected which is nice, the restaurants offered great food and the shuttle to the beach was a fun experience! Overall, if youre looking for a resort that is more relaxing, less of a party every day type of vibe, this place is the place for you!

Excellent experience. Our preferred pool was the Edgewater. Ricky was our bartender who anticipated our drink orders and brought them to us. There are multiple events per day and with Aldo as the master of ceremonies, you are in for a good time. Aldo answered all of our questions and made several recommendations. That man deserves a raise. The beach has the best view and the water felt amazing. The resort is near a strip in Tulum with multiple bars and clubs as well as taco stands.

Way overpriced, inconvenient and far from the beach, food was terrible, staff was rude and unhelpful, and the pools were freezing. Highly advise you save your trip and choose a different property for your vacation.

I recently stayed at Secrets Tulum, and it turned out to be the most disastrous resort experience Iā€™ve ever had. On the very first night, I received an electric shock because the cables behind the lampā€™s wall plate werenā€™t insulated. Although they sent an engineer to fix the problem, the harm was already doneā€”I was deeply unsettled by the incident. The concierge, Fernando, attempted to provide a few concessions, such as a hydrotherapy spa session and a romantic breakfast for my girlfriend and me. However, when we called the next day to confirm our spa appointment, our names werenā€™t even on the listā€”apparently, nobody had informed the spa staff. To make matters worse, the promised romantic breakfast was never delivered. We also celebrated New Yearā€™s Eve there and paid $250 for a table with champagne, but when the night came, our table had already been given to someone else. It took them over 45 minutes to locate an alternative table, and we ended up far from the preferred section we had originally paid for. In addition to these issues, the customer service was appalling. The wait times at the restaurants averaged between 45 and 60 minutes, which was especially infuriating considering this is supposed to be a Secrets property. After experiencing all these problems, I can safely say I absolutely would not recommend Secrets Tulum.

The property is very large. The layout can get confusing trying to find restaurants and pools and bars. The room itself was excellent. Large bathroom/shower area, great views. We were never advised of the app, to know what was open for food choices and times of availability and menus and such, that would have been nice to have been told at check-in (especially since we stayed at preferred tower). The beach club was a nice area as well. Nice to be able to take the shuttle back and forth and get some beach time. May look at staying at that end next time. Overall, a nice stay for a couple of nights. Always enjoy Secrets and the group of hotels they belong to.

While the property was nice all of the pools were ice cold, all the restaurants had horrible food, and all of the cocktail were not great - no craft cocktails Or elevated wines/craft beers available even to premium guests. Would not go back.
