Nous étions 6 filles dans la suite présidentielle. Nous étions très bien! Les lits sur le bord de la plage sont confortables et ils ont tous un toit pour se protéger du soleil. Le personnel est très sympathique. L’air climatisée était silencieuse et efficace. L’hôtel est à proximité de restaurant et à proximité raisonnable du centre-ville de Tulum en taxi. C’est dog friendly :) Le seul point négatif était la puissance du jet de la douche et le manque d’eau chaude parfois. La vue est incroyable! Pour des prix plus raisonnables, je vous conseille d’aller manger et boire au centre-ville.

Unfortunately, My 1st Negative Review ever !!

I normally understand when things go wrong and I’m quick to accept apologies, but this experience left me no choice — this is my first-ever negative review. We stayed for 6 nights and had multiple issues. The oceanfront infinity pool — one of the main reasons we booked — was out of order the entire time. Every day, the manager said, “It will be ready tomorrow,” but it never was. Same excuse for five days. To make things worse, the room next to ours was being renovated. Every morning at 9am, we were woken by loud drilling and hammering. It was impossible to rest. After reporting our concerns and trying to move to another hotel, the manager apologized and offered free breakfast and a 10% refund, which I accepted. That was four weeks ago. Despite following up almost daily, I still haven’t received the refund — just the same vague reply: “The owner will do the refund soon.” Worth to mentioned, the manager’s Golden Retriever (a sweet dog) was constantly walking through chairs, umbrellas, and breakfast tables. It didn’t bother us, but it might bother others. Maybe by now the renovations are done and the pool is fixed. But with so many great options in Tulum, I’d absolutely avoid this hotel and book elsewhere.

We loved our first visit to Tulum!

We loved our stay at Alquimia and highly recommend it! The staff were so welcoming and attentive and gave us great recommendations. The room was beautiful and kept clean/stocked daily. Our room was steps away from the pool and beautiful beach - it was so easy to get to the cabanas and relax! We also saw wonderful views from the rooftop. The hotel was super close (walking distance) to a pharmacy, grocery store, and many different restaurants, so we felt so connected to everything. It was easy to take a taxi into Tulum Centro, and the staff helped us navigate how to take the colectivos, as well. The only small issue we had was with the WiFi not working, but the staff fixed it promptly! Again, we highly recommend Alquimia and hope to return!

Very nice location right on the beach toward the south end of the hotel zone. Very friendly and helpful staff, at the front desk and at the beach. The shaded beach beds under the palm trees are wonderful! Very good food and drinks, but a little expensive. I stayed for 5 days with my 14-year-old son. Alquimia Hôtel was perfect for me and my daughter. The staff was friendly, attentive and always helpful. Our room was spacious. The beach area was nice and relax, with a good playlist everyday. The food at the restaurant was good. We would book there again. Thank you Manu and all the staff at Alquimia.

Amazing location just steps from the beach. It’s a neat idea to use shipping containers and with the upgrades, we didn’t feel like we were in them. They extended them out so it’s more than just a container. The inside was Tulum sheek and had all the basics. The bed was a little uncomfortable but maybe it was just our unit. We had the basic and maybe it was more meant for one person. The cabana restaurant was great vibes and we loved how dog friendly it was.

The location is unbeatable, with direct beach access and stunning views. We enjoyed staying at this place a lot. This was our first time staying here. We were here for my wife's birthday the place was a awesome. Check in was a breeze, our room was one of those containers ours was called neos, and it was perfect for the minimalist that I am. Cold ac clean towels and no bugs in the room is all i need. Loved the outside open air rest room, water temp for the shower worked, so that was a plus. Room service kept the bedding and towels fresh. Felt safe the whole time. There was a slide lock on the outside fence door and the inside door lock was solid. Our room was really close to the beach and the beach beds were comfortable I fell asleep for awhile out there. The staff was beyond amazing. Some baby sea turtles that hatched didn't make it out the night before and the staff asked us if we'd like to help send the turtles on their way the following night, and we did by releasing them into the sea. We had a delicious breakfast every morning and it was good everytime time. Everyone of the staff I interacted with was very pleasant and extra nice. Smiles all around. Walking distance from many food, shopping, relaxation and adventure options. We made sure to spend 1 whole day beachside and it was spectacular. They keep the area clean and looking great. Check out was at noon and was smooth. I highly recommend this hotel. And will definitely return. Thank you Hotel Alquimia for your hospitality. We appreciate all the hard work you guys put into making sure we had an incredible stay.Cheers

I did really enjoyed hospitality and warmth of people. And hotel is simple but at the same time it offered everything I could wish - tranquility and great view and access to the ocean.

This place is just a dream! Adorable rooms, absolutely perfect beach and view, food and drinks are good but pricey compared to bars and restaurants around. Staff is amazing, friendly and helpful even if they don’t speak much English. They all took good care of my daughter and I, and accommodated all my requests! We were there the last week of October and it wasn’t crowded at all which it was absolutely perfect! Eddy gives the best massages and was awesome with my kid! One of the last nights the staff invited us to release baby sea turtles and that was just a dream coming true! An unforgettable experience!! If I’ll be back to Tulum I will stay here again for sure!

Alquimia was so accomodating and staff were super friendly. The place was absolutely beautiful, especially with the room we stayed in. The view of the beach sold it to us as we can just walk out and the beach is right there. The only downfall was due to heavy rain we got water inside our room and the hot water didn’t seem to work as strong. However, The staff made it extra romantic with doing our room with cute towel animals and rose petals. If you want to relax by the beach on a day bed sipping on cocktails this is for you!
