We celebrated our 25th anniversary with a seven day trip to Tulum. The Alaya was a great place to stay. The staff is courteous and friendly. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. The location is quiet but within walking distance of amenities. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent service and gorgeous location. They set us up with bikes for easy transportation, helped us book a return car to the airport, and also had breakfast and took our order the night before so we can have it quickly in the AM because we were leaving early. Great service!

Ocean front room was perfection! Watching the sun rise over the ocean from bed, having breakfast served on the patio while watching the waves, listening to the sounds of the surf while drifting off to sleep all made the trip magical! My stay at Alaya Tulum was absolutely beautiful. The entire experience felt peaceful, tranquil, and intentionally curated for relaxation. The staff was incredibly warm, attentive, and helpful from beginning to end, and the hospitality truly stood out. Room service was amazing, and they consistently made sure I was comfortable and well taken care of throughout my stay. I also appreciated the thoughtful birthday touches — the champagne and cake made my celebration feel extra special. If you’re looking for a place with calming vibes, excellent service, and a memorable experience in Tulum, I highly recommend Alaya. I would definitely return.

Really great location. Felt like I was on my own deserted island. Room was like an island treehouse. Listening to the ocean at night on my own deck was amazing. Food was excellent and great staff made this a very enjoyable stay. If I’m ever back at Tulum beach I will know where to stay!
