The property is clean and great location with easy access to trains and walkable to Ueno and Akihabara. Only wish there were some sort of storage shelving to put all the goodies we bought.

Ottima scelta se si cerca una soluzione con anche cucina e lavatrice, che noi abbiamo utilizzato ampiamente. Il personale molto gentile, però noi siamo rimaste 5 notti e non sono mai venuti a fare le pulizie, né a cambiare gli asciugamani. Ci è sembrato non consono alla struttura. Forse avremmo dovuto chiederlo ma, solitamente, dopo 3 notti un cambio asciugamani almeno dovrebbero farlo.

The hotel is in a good location and the staff are friendly and helpful. However, the room I thought I booked was not the room I got. Make sure you know exactly what you are getting. The room we had was extremely small, with a small frosted window that only about a couple inches. If you are at all claustrophobic, you may not be able to manage. I asked for a different room, but they were fully booked. However, they did agree to refund our stay minus the one night we stayed. This was very kind of them, and I was able to find more suitable accommodation.

Section L Yushima is like an efficiency apartment, with a kitchenette and washing machine. It is spacious by Tokyo standards. It is on a quiet side street in the Yushima neighborhood, south of Ueno. There is a Chiyoda Metro entrance just around the corner. There is no maid service, but they have English-speaking attendants (English mother tongue, I would say...) in the lobby 24-7, which is a nice service.

Everything about our stay at Section L was easy! Staff at front desk were very friendly and helpful from check in to check out. Our room was a good size for Japan, and very clean/modern. The washer/dryer unit was clutch when traveling abroad, we didn’t have to back as much to bring with us. Excellent location, right near a couple of subway lines. Would definitely stay again!!

Loved the location, near several subway lines and could easily walk to Ueno park. There were many little streets in the surrounding area with small restaurants as well. Really nice to have laundry in our room. Beds were super comfortable. The only negative was how small and cramped the room felt. There were no drawers or closet--just a hanging rack for your clothes. There was no space to even lay a suitcase other than on top of the small 3-person table in the middle of the room. Stayed with my family of 4. Great place if you're ok with a small space!

As an American family of adults and teens, this hotel was wonderful for a visit to Tokyo. The "Superior studio" was enough room for three adults or teens. We used the extra bed/couch for our stuff and there was still room to sit at the table and eat together. The staff were very helpful and communicated well in English. The hotel also supplied a web site that we used to ask questions before we arrived and during our stay. The bathroom and shower were spacious for one person to use at a time. The kitchen was fully equipped with fridge, freezer, stove, microwave, toaster oven, and kettle. There was also a washer/dryer. The street was quiet and felt safe at night. A 24-hour Family Mart is right across the street with fresh and packaged food. The southwest corner of Ueno Park is a few blocks away on a busy but safe street. Walking to the museums, Ueno Stations, or the outdoor Ameyoko shopping area are about 15-minute walks (uphill for the museums) but less than 1000Y for a taxi to those places. On arrival/departure we walked with our suitcases between the hotel and the station for the Narita Skyliner train (Keisi Ueno Station), the 15 minutes was manageable but some would prefer to hail a taxi.

Love that it has laundry facilities in the room, and comes with liquid detergent, lint roller, iron and all! And the washer was so quiet! Even has a weighing scale, toaster, microwave, water filter, recycle bins. Most well equipped apartment ever stayed in. Will choose section L again!

Room is a little small but expected and spacious enough to have a round table which is nice for our family of four to sit around to snack at. Beds are big and comfy. Sofa beds are comfy too although a little short for a grown man. I like the shower room the best. Shower is hot and has good pressure, perfect after a long day of walking. Shopping malls, restaurants and subway are within walking distance. I recommend this place.

Staff was very friendly and ready to help, though there was very little I needed beyond what was provided. The room was reasonably small and very clean; the smaller size (compared to U.S.) was helpful when cooling the room down. All appliances were like new and perfectly functional. The room was quiet and we made/recieved no complaints regarding other guests. I would absolutely select this hotel again for a future trip!
