Unfortunately there was a conference taking place while we were there, which meant the bar was full and very noisy after 5, and a much reduced menu available for dining. The other annoying thing was the door lock on rooms, needing a seven digit code to enter.

One of the best hotels in Tauranga though they should replace the single use plastic (toiletries and water bottles) with refillable bottles.

The room was adequate. It was difficult to adjust the room temperature (either too hot or too cold) It was basically clean but we found a spider in our sheets. That was a bit of a concern. We are pretty easy going with accommodation but we weren't overly impressed with our stay at the Trinity .
