We took the larger room with a lounge which gave the 2 of us plenty of space. Our room was out the back away from the road. Older property, but friendly helpful staff. Good value. Could walk to the supermarket and a petrol station for milk was very close. The only issue was when the guests next door had their showers it was very noisy in the wall / roof. This must be a long term issue. Parking was good out the front of the unit, we were in Unit 10.

The room was spotless and cool even with an outside temperature of 30 degrees without using the air available conditioning, the shower was remarkable, the pool was clean and the staff friendly and helpful.

We stayed at the Golden Grain Motor Inn the first time whilst having been in Tamworth often before. We loved it and booked our next trip right away. The staff is amazing, very friendly and the cleanliness is second to none. Yes there was still carpet in the room and it was a bit worn BUT it was so well cared for and so clean that it didn't matter. The staff put so much attention to detail and must take pride in their work. Even my teenage son noticed the cleanliness of the brick walls!

Our e-bike was stolen over nite from the bike rack off the car.The bike was locked with the key +an extra lock and ropes,they must have had tool as they had to carry the bike still connected to half of the rack. 2 people were on video carrying the bike away from the Motel
