Had a great stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and well designed. Bedding was comfortable and housekeeping makes your room every other day, unless otherwise specially requested. Amenities such as shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are provided. Head to the nearby DonDonki to pickup some bath powder to enjoy the lovely Japanese style bath/shower room combo. On site laundry was readily available, as was coffee, tea and water in the lounge area past reception. Breakfast at the hotel was decent, but there are also several soy milk shops in the area serving local breakfast that is very easy for foreigners. The location is very convenient and I would definitely stay here again.

Third stay at Solaria and I’m still impressed by the service from the staff, hotel cleanliness and design. It is centrally located next to the Ximen pedestrian area but you feel you are in a calm oasis as soon as you go through the entrance.

Great location and clean!

The location is excellent for those wanting to base at Ximending while travelling around in public transport. Taxi stand is right at the entrance, while underground stations are just 2 blocks away. Gym, laundry and locker room available if needed. They even offer a luggage scale at the lobby area. Excellent for shopping lovers!

We enjoyed our stay at Solaria, clean, nice location & very friendly staff. The only thing I didn’t like about the policy of the hotel is you have to pay $30 in order to check-in early. We arrived at the hotel early coming from a cruise but according to a staff the room is not yet ready. However the room will be ready if you pay an extra $30. This doesn’t happen in big hotels. You can check-in once the room is ready.
