The hotel is in a great location next/within walking distance of major bus and train stations making it very easy to explore Taipei. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the room was large and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

I spent a few nights at Palais de Chine Hotel, and the experience was one of the best I've ever had! I got a very warm welcome, staff were super supportive. They always cared for me and provided the best options for every question I had. The facilities are wonderful, the bed are comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone, and will be pretty sure to come back when I get a chance in the future.

Excellent hotel. Quirky but elegant rooms, old world charm. Amazingly comfortable beds. Love the free sparkling water dispenser. Taipei Main Station right next door, very convenient.

Classy, Peaceful, and So Convenient — I’ll Be Back I stayed at Palais de Chine May 2025 and really enjoyed everything about it. I booked an Executive Room, which came with access to the 17th floor lounge—a calm, cozy space with nice snacks, drinks, and a great view. My stay also included lunch and dinner at the main restaurant (not the steakhouse on the 6th floor by check-in), which made the whole experience feel super smooth and relaxing. The room was clean, well-designed, and super comfortable. Every staff member I interacted with was kind, helpful, and professional. The whole hotel has this peaceful elegance that just puts you at ease. What truly makes this hotel a no-brainer for me, though, is the location—right next to Taipei Main Station with easy access to MRT, HSR, buses, and airport transfers. I’m 99% sure I’ll stay here again for that convenience alone. Would love it if they offered something for long-term guests or returning visitors. I’d definitely be interested in coming back for an extended stay.
