Staff was nice and friendly. Room was very spacious. It's a Japanese style hotel with an awesome Onsen. Men and women are separate. Only issue was they required a swimming cap to enter and use the pool. Considering we only wanted to lounge around and dip only, not swim, we decided to pass on purchasing a cap. Hotel itself is not convenient to the central parts of Taipei so we took a lot of taxis. But the area is very quiet and nice.

The staff were excellent. The service was superb by check -in staff,consierge,porters,cleaning staff,everybody! Surrounding area very good, upmarket.

The location is nice and quiet. The hotel’s breakfast and seafood buffets are excellent. My only complaint is that the Michelin star restaurant Meipon was a big disappointment. We have been to multiple Michelin restaurants around the world and I must say that this was the worst one ever. We had to ask for linen napkins; the ambiance was lacking; it was noisy; the menu was boring and the food was a big disappointment. Everything about the restaurant did not align to the essence of a Michelin Star restaurant. It was very confusing.
