They only had enough towels for 1 per person per stay. I asked for towels so we could use the pool and use our bathroom towels for when we returned to shower after the pool. We got 2 towels and 2 hand towels for 4 people. Better than nothing I guess.

A lovely old Hotel with amazing character and atmosphere, but by no means old in service and standards. The Cricketers Bar is a great spot for a few beers and a simple feed.Breakfast was a great dining experience.

"Real value for money. Great room with microwave if you want to eat in. Very clean and obviously well looked after. Only issue was that there was a child working reception desk at check out. Made it impossible to ask for directions"
