The initial staff member at the desk for our check-in was very professional and knowledgeable. The room was excellent and clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was great and the morning desk staff was very pleasant. The airport shuttle driver was helpful and very pleasant also. On my next trip to Washington DC I will definitely stay here again. The hotel, the room, and every staff member that we encountered was awesome…except for the GM, Diane. She was extremely rude and nasty when it was totally uncalled for. She truly berated us over a misunderstanding regarding a “late checkout” when we were already paying a late checkout fee. Phillip, Karen, and a young AA with glasses were GREAT employees! If Hyatt knew how comfortable Diane is with being rude to polite customers, she most likely would not have a job there anymore. Overall, the hotel and location are great. The GM is what would make you want to take your business elsewhere!

Karen, at the front desk was helpful, friendly, kind, and nice to talk to. The cleaning team was attentive, and refreshed our towels and trash each day. We appreciate all the team members that made the stay comfortable for us. The only negative was the AC unit in our room was loud when it'd turn on and the room did not keep heat well. We were in room 613, the unit is in the bedroom, which made sleeping hard at first as the noise was obnoxious. Also, it would have been good to have a shower with a shower head that detached because with a child that would have been helpful. Otherwise the room was nice.

Great location. Overall, friendly staff. The rooms are quite large. A very clean hotel. Two things, though: the restaurant is not open for lunch. You can’t watch tv in bed, even if you try to turn it around. Other than that, it’s a great place.
