The staff was friendly and understanding, the full hot breakfast was great, the bed was comfortable, but my room was very humid and damp with a strong mildew smell, even with the air conditioner running the whole time. Parts of the hotel are being renovated, so hopefully that room is next!

Upon arrival we noted the key kept on turning and eventually worked out you had to pull the door and turn the key and if you are lucky it would open. Was told this is normal as it is not a master key (hmmm ok). Then the hot water and tv was not working. 80 minutes later (after promising to be there in a hour) someone turned up to sort this out. Evening ruined as it was then too late to go out. Showed them that the sink was blocked, TV broken and an uncomfortable sofa bed instead of a bed as shown in the pictures. Was promised fix by the next morning but was not done until a further chase up- reason given “I forgot”. Sink and sofa bed were never fixed. The shower in my opinion was the worst. There is no shower curtain and the head leaked. So you have a flooded slippery bathroom floor. And to top it the lock to the bathroom is broken. Had to use our own diy skills to stop the shower head from turning when switched on. Smell of something illicit being smoked by the neighbours - dared not complain. Area was not the best and did not venture out late. Only one toilet downstairs and limited towels provided. The internet speed feels like something from the 90s and the password on the wall was not clear. Stairs are varnished wood so would not recommend it for small children especially if you have wet feet from the shower.
