St. Petersburg Cheap Hotels

My Girlfriend and I went for the weekend as a little getaway. Randy, who was the gentleman that checked us in was super friendly and welcoming. Once we went up to our room we were more than happy. The only downside was the bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned. We informed the other gentleman (i don’t remember his name) about the issue and they took care of it almost immediately. Randy made sure that housekeeping went up and properly cleaned not only the bathroom but the entire room. It made our stay more enjoyable and also gave peace of mind that our bathroom was properly cleaned. Randy did an amazing job attacking the problem while still remaining professional and friendly. Thank you so much Randy if you end up seeing this !

First time we stayed here we loved it. 2nd time we stayed - everything went wrong The girl at the front desk is incompetent - will say anything to get you off the phone or away from her desk. I tried at least 10 times before our stay I rang to get a 2nd floor unit as the first time we stayed ground floor and cockroaches can come in through the sliding doors that lead to the grass outside the room. Eventually spoke to a guy who said our room request was accepted. Check in came. No such thing. Downstairs and over 4 days I had to kill 2 massive cockroaches. Early check in? Lip service from the worst customer service person. I am sure they know who I am talking about and she must be related to ownership as no one would put up with that if they had to. So my wife waits around for hours only to call back in to be told rooms ready ages ago but it’s not upstairs. Bedside drawer fell off the wall - could have killed our dog or broken my foot. No sorry. No apology. We were seriously thinking about booking the entire place for an EDM or music event but will keep looking elsewhere. Such a shame. This place has so much potential. They just need to care, more.

Just wish parking didn't cost so much.
