Floors were filthy (a few small splatters of what appeared to be blood near the entrance to the bathroom, hair, dust, etc.) I had to kill two bugs in bathroom, elevator out of order, in-room phone had no wires attached to call front desk, light switch for light fixture above bathroom mirror not reachable without climbing onto sink. Also the walls are very thin so it was very hard to sleep until the bars were closed, street emptying and other guests settling down.

Pictures are very deceiving. The room was so dirty and old. Shades were broken and missing. There was no working elevator so we had to haul all of the luggage up 3 flights of stairs.

Very unprofessional. Screwed up reservation... room had food in the fridge from last person using the room.... had multiple reservations to be combined. 2 people telling me we are good.... rude lady telling me to check out!!!! Drove 17 hours for this level of customer service. Never again!!!!

The facility needs rehabbing/renovating...very poor presentation, old chipped paint worn out everything from the floors to molding, paint, furniture and fixtures, rusted sink missing fixtures, staff was rude upon late check in; the furniture is old and worn and did not match decor, the mattress was hard as a brick and there were make up stains on one of the hand towels.

La verdad. Nones comonse ve en la foto. Por fuera esta abandonado y por dentro muy viejo y no limpio No es verdad q tienen estacionamienro. El estacionamiento wsta a 1 cuadra y mwdia y debes pagarlo. Porque ws piblico. Estuvimos en el segundo piso y la buya es twrrible. Ademas q estabamos cerca de la cocina y siempre huno ruidoss. Lo siento pero no lo recomiendo

The staff were wonderful. Eddie was so helpful. The hotel itself was built in 1920’s. As a result the hotel has a lot of character but is in no way modern. You will have the benefit of a safe and clean place to sleep, bathe and store luggage. The location is beyond excellent and balances out the age of the hotel and sparse accommodations. If you are a light sleeper you will absolutely need good ear plugs because the walls and floors are thin. If you have bad knees, note the beds are low to the ground and the stairs are steep and narrow in the event you need to use them. You will need a steamer or travel iron for your clothes. Parking is one block away and is safe and convenient. There is a wonderful bar (Novu) connected to the hotel on the right. They have great HH specials on drink and food. Fortu is Michelin starred restaurant connected to the hotel on the left. I stayed for one night only needing the place to change and sleep. The property was good for those purposes.

They always take care of me Michael Tartaro with Signature X Limo Tampa and they take care of me it’s amazing you have FORTU restaurant in the building and they treat you amazing. I tell you that’s the best spot that hotel you can’t beat the location and everything is perfect.

Amazing stay! The staff was absolutely spectacular and treated us incredibly well from start to finish. Eddy was especially outstanding — he helped us so much, particularly with finding parking, and was attentive to every detail throughout our stay. We are truly grateful for his kindness and support.
