We enjoyed our stay. It was an easy walk to the Baseball game and the Gateway Arch National Park. Parking was a bit stressful however the valet personnel were very friendly and helpful.

The "2" is because the view of the Arch from our room was beautiful; otherwise this would have been a "1" because literally everything else about the stay was awful. The bed was so hard I couldn't sleep, they advertise "quiet hours 9pm-9am" and yet there was some event in a ballroom above us that was so loud we could hear, and even feel, the pounding of the bass in our room until nearly 11pm, the refrigerator in our room didn't work, and the shower floor was so slippery I nearly fell and there were no grab bars at all...twisted my back trying to catch myself from falling. To add insult to injury, the front desk told me they could only offer me a $20 room credit because I had booked the room through a 3rd party - Expedia. Doesn't everyone book through 3rd party apps these days?! We will never stay at this place again and are submitting a complaint to their corporate office.

Hotel is big ! Lots of people. We were in a big line for Valet they were pretty quick & had good customer service . Front desk checked in was fast and easy. This is where the hotel doesn’t get above 3 stars. We get to our room as soon as we open the door it smelled like a smoking room. Bathroom had a leak and floors were all wet. Went down to customer service and he said they will send someone. They did fixed leak and cleaned up floor but not the room smell or switched me to another one. Excited they had a Ruth Chris but only reservations, went for some drinks at the bar and customer service was not it. Felt uncomfortable & wasn’t knowledge or helpful on questions I had. Went to the other restaurant at the hotel and there good customer service, greeting you and making you feel welcomed. Overall I expected more from Hyatt especially being in downtown.

My wife an I had a very pleasant stay at the Hyatt Regency by the Gateway Arch. We came in from Nashville for a baseball game. The stadium is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Safe area. It was really nice to be able to bring our dogs. The National Park across the street offers a great place to walk the pups. Very dog friendly area. Hotel staff was probably the friendliest I’ve ever encountered. 5 stars from us. Oh!!! And Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse was fantastic! Jazz is a great server and highly recommended!

Place was nice but I literally parked right in front of building to come out in the morning to my window broke out and all my stuff gone. Stay away!!!!
