After receiving notification of an available early check in, we arrived to the entrance being pressure washed. I had to manage my wheelchair bound mother, a toddler and a full luggage rack from the closest spot and then maneuver everything over water hoses. No one offered assistance or acknowledged the inconvenience. Elevator broke down next to our room. Forcing a wheelchair bound person to go on the other side of the hotel. Again, no staff acknowledged the inconvenience. Upon arrival I received my cards for our breakfast that was included with the room for our first morning there. I inquired about the next day and was told to ask the next day. When I approached the desk later the same day I was told my room didn’t come with breakfast and that is why I did t get the vouchers. We were told we could just pay for breakfast if we wished. She handed me a printout of something that made no sense to me. It did t show a receipt or information about my booking. I went back to our room and went through my emails. I found my confirmation which clearly showed breakfast was included because I paid extra. I went back downstairs and spoke to yet another new face at the desk, same day. The lady that had presented the printout and said I didn’t get any kept trying to make excuses for why she said what she did. I completely ignored her as they fixed it and handed me the breakfast vouchers.

The staff in front let us check in 2 hours early which was very nice of them. The rooms are small but were clean and modern. The restaurant was really great. The main issue was that our credit card and ID disappeared from the pool area. The staff was polite, we were told they checked cameras but after the police report was filed we were told there weren’t cameras with a view of where we were. Overall it’s a good hotel but I personally wouldn’t stay again after our stuff going missing.

I have stayed at the Holiday Inn a few times and love it. The staff is always super nice and friendly. We love sitting by the pool or in the shaded areas near the pool. This hotel is fantastic and will stay there again

When we got there, there were about 10 cops present with all their cars outside, some with lights flashing. That set the tone. Otherwise, the stay was fine.

loved The Lounge. loved the hospitality. of the one complaint we had, it was readily resolved by an attentive and caring staff. tons of potential here. loved the vintage motel sign out front. pool was very nice. basic, but clean and inviting, and the 1-foot end was great for young ones. did not like the concept of tile floors in private quarters. it was the first thing we noticed when we walked in. carpet at least is usually just vacuumed and you dont worry much about toxic filth in it. but with these tiles you see that cleaners are spraying some unknown elements onto the floors and then mop it up. we saw stuff on our floors that were not truly cleaned. could be soda, could be worse, and we did not enjoy walking on it. the tub apparently has been coated over with material to make it look new, which would be great, except that it was peeling around the drain, so to take a tub bath was out of the question. really appreciate most of the interactions we had with staff. loved the overall layout of the hotel- clean, updated, and comfortable. worth the price if you cant afford much, like us, but even so, would be worth paying a bit more for a better private room if you can.
