Communication was excellent. I arrived after midnight and the door code was not correct. I texted the provided number and they sent the right code immediately with an apology. The apartment is cute and quaint. Everything was spotlessly clean. The shower was awesome- plenty of hot water and pressure. The bed and pillows were super comphy and clean. The mirror in the bathroom was well lit. The kitchen was well supplied with pots and pans and dishes. Kitchen appliances look brand new. Yes, it’s an older building, and yes, there are things that could be updated and structural things that could be improved, but this was a wonderful, nostalgic little place to stay. I’ll be back for sure.

The place was smaller than expected, especially the bathroom. The place is very vintage. The only thing new is the bathroom sink & kitchenette. The floors are noisy & sink in when you’re approaching the bathroom. It began to rain while we were napping & when we woke up the curling above the fridge was peeling & leaking a yellow liquid. I was devastated i could not cook dinner & had to leave early. I got on the road while it was raining because it was not sanitary for us to still stay there, on Valentine’s day. It kind of ruined my trip but i did a partial refund a couple days later. I don’t know who i was communicating with but they were pretty helpful. I will not recommend this stay to anyone unless you’re going for a vintage stay but this building really needs to be knocked down & remodeled. It’s very old, just like most of st. louis. Not worth the money or drive if you ask me.

Not enough towels. Had to go buy pots and pans to cook with. The toilet sets way too close to the tub. The basement was very scary
