Great place before going to Mackinac Island. Breakfast was awesome! A nice bonus is that you can use to fuel and hot tub 24 hours a day. Staff were very nice and helpful!

Lovely and affordable! Great breakfast bar and ample spaces. Good swimming/jacuzzi, tub in the room, lake view and firewood pit lit up at night! I would spend more time to drive the bridge to make my night to here to save money from not staying in Mackinaw City. Stay here in St Ignace instead!

Holiday Inn Express St. Ignace was pretty rough. We had a room on the first floor, which is technically like a walk-out basement. The room had a sliding glass door to the outside where a common firepit and chairs are situated. The lake and shore are right there which is nice. The room felt so shabby that we did not enjoy our stay. The edges of the carpet at corners and seams were frayed. The track to the sliding door was filthy. This hotel needs a refresh.
