I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels, the price point this one was above and beyond. There’s nothing negative to say about this place. Don’t listen to anyone that says anything different. It’s the best value for your money and the breakfast was excellent.

Very disappointed in the room. Very dated which leads to not clean. Carpet disgusting. Our feet were black from walking on the carpet. Shower dated and floor of shower filthy. Room daily clean consisted of a poor attempt at making a bed and throwing some towels in the room. We are very strict with putting all of our things away in our luggage and yet proper cleaning of the sink area was not completed. Toothpaste not even wiped off dated yucky faucet. Wallpaper peeling, ceilings patched and not painted. Makes us wonder if the crap rooms are left for Expedia clients. The free breakfast was disgusting! Hard to make eggs that are not edible. I am not a hard to please person in regards to food. I literally could not take more than one bite. Coffee empty nobody to get more. Decaffeinated was awful. Probably the water ! Needless to say we left and never returned for our FREE disgusting breakfast. It was awful. Now the water. What is wrong with it is really hard to imagine. It tastes awful and feels worse. Gummy is the only words we could come up with to explain it. The price to stay here was simply robbery. Expedia needs to do better with ANY sort of good rating for this hotel. Just a shame!

The rooms were spacoous and clean, the location was nice. The beach access out back was easy to get to and clean. The shower needs updated and a cutain that does not allow the water to leak out. Breakfast could stay open until 10:00am. Also, the parking was limited in the evenings when everyone was returning for the day.

The room was clean but a bit dated. The property and the private beach was very nice. Breakfast was pretty much what you expect from continental breakfast with the exception of the protein selection. All that was offered was ham and/or eggs, bacon or sausage would have been nice. We ate across the street our second day.

Wonderful Family-Friendly Stay with Stunning Views! We had an amazing stay at Best Western Plus Dockside Waterfront Inn. The breathtaking view of the Great Lakes right from the property is something we’ll never forget. The hotel offers great amenities like a fire pit and plenty of seating to relax and enjoy the beach view, making evenings especially memorable. The location is perfect — walkable to the ferry, close to charming shops, and surrounded by great dining options (many of which offer delivery right to your room). It’s incredibly family-friendly, and the cleaning staff went above and beyond, keeping our room spotless despite all the sand we tracked in from the beach — a true sign of their professionalism and hospitality. Breakfast was another highlight, with a variety of good options to start the day right. We thoroughly enjoyed every bit of our stay and highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a family trip to the area. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

The property had a clean pool area, a clean breakfast area and a private beach. The rooms are older and a little musty but the musty is expected with a lakeside room. The views are beautiful. The patio could have been cleaned up a bit of spiderwebs and dead bugs. The beds were also squeaky and very firm. The breakfast also isn't great. Reminded me of microwaved frozen pancakes. The coffee was also always out. However, the rooms were clean and cared for. Overall, I would say the facility is old but clean. Great location and helpful staff. I would say for the view and the size of the room, $200/night is reasonable.

The room was very nice and the location worked well for our needs. We ended up not needing the extra bed but that was not the fault of the hotel. The only downer was that the second door to the bathroom didn't lock. I did ask that it get fixed but it wasn't done during our stay. I didn't matter to us but it may to the next person/
