Service and cleaning terrible

I didn’t think when I said yes I’d like house keeping I’d come back to my bed not made and sink not clean. I also was very upset the remote didn’t work properly and I had called and all I’d get was a recording saying we are closed for the night. What kind of accommodations are those? I’m sure glad the toilet wasn’t broke and I’d have tried to reach the front desk. Would never stay here again.

I paid $170 for a room at a not full hotel. They gave me a handicap room with no view even though there were many open rooms. The shower was not good. A hand held unit that probably cost $5 as it was so small and made of rubber. Very disappointed. Much better choices in this area.

Loved this hotel! Right on the lake with a private Ricky beach area. I felt like I was at a little resort. Beautiful pool, hot tub and fire pit that they did s’mores at each night at 8 pm. We were in the Michigan building which looked like an older part of the hotel but still nice and very reasonably priced. Plus it’s closest to the water. The ferries to Mackinac Island are a block away and they will shuttle you for free or you can easily walk. Tons of shopping and dining in the area with a very beautiful view of the lake.

Excellent location. Great view of Lake Huron. Very convenient to get in the ferry for Mackinac Island. We actually walked to the ferry but the shuttle picks up at hotel also. Very clean and has been renovated. Front desk staff was very attentive and helpful for any of our questions for the area or the hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

This place is a total scam!! No where in there pictures do they show a 1950’s looking motel but that is what we were put in. All pictures on Expedia show modern buildings and they had them but that is not where are room was. If I had known that we were going to be put in an old motel we would have stayed elsewhere. We paid modern prices and got old housing. Also the room had a cobweb on the wall full of dead knats. I feel totally ripped offed.

It is beautiful location next to beach, friendly staff, quiet place and really good for family and kids. Only thing property is slightly aged and beds are okay and can be better.
