The Hotel is nestled on a small hill with a breathtaking view of a gorgeous lake. The outdoor area is spectacular, featuring beautiful flowers that line the perimeter and comfortable lounging chairs with fire pits. The room is on the smaller side, but it’s surprisingly comfortable and exceptionally clean. The lobby has plenty of seating areas, two wonderful restaurants, and a mini mart for snacks and liquor. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Love this historical property where we spent our honeymoon. However, since it is an older building there are quite a few stairs and different floor levels, which could make accessibility an issue.

The hotel was very nice, clean and accommodating. Rooms are somewhat small but plenty of room for two people. The grounds are beautiful and plenty of chairs for outdoor sitting right on the water. There are two restaurants attached to the hotel and both are very nice.

A lovely hotel with helpful staff and nice amenities. We enjoyed the hot tub and indoor pool upon arrival. We were early for our reservation but the staff was accommodating and let us use the facilities until our room was ready. We were checked in 3 hours early which was wonderful after a long morning of traveling. The staff continued to be of assistance throughout our stay. Every request was met with a smile and immediate action. The convenient location and beautiful views are well worth it. Sitting on the front porch was a highlight every morning and evening. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute and look forward to making our stay at The Island House a summer tradition!
