the first room we got the bathroom was dirty, they gave us another room with no problem. the hotel is very out dated, needs painting badly, new bathroom sinks, better lighting in the rooms. there were plugs in the room that did not work for cell phones and tablet.

Not as clean as it used to be. Musty smelling, dust on top of the lamps We were last here in 2020 or 2021 and it seemed much more comfortable. View is still gorgeous.

We just came in for a quick night turn around. The room was a little dated but clean and comfortable. The curtains had a few holes in them. Overall I would stay there again for the same situation. Good price point.

There was 2 person at the front desk, one was either India or Nepali another was a Caucasian. When we entered this place, we met the Caucasian guy only, we noticed that there was no form of greetings or hi/hello, it looked like we can at his house uninvited and staying for free! We said we are here for check-in, he gave a form to fill out the vehicle information, and after turning on the paper, he pointed out that I missed one initial on that paper! His attitude was so wrong! Then I asked him whether he can provide pack and play for the infant, he could have said no in a polite manner, but he again sounded disrespectful. The room was far end and upstairs, with an infant it was very difficult to climb stairs with bags and suitcases! Anyways, the room was smelly, plenty of dead bugs, and lights was not working! I again stopped at the front desk, this time, I met the other guy, he was less arrogant, then I asked him that lights were not working, he came at the room and then told me that several of their room have missing lights and he will try to grab at least one light for me, but he never showed up! Seriously, these people don’t know their job, why would I get a filthy room especially when we are having an infant with us! Thought I stayed for one night so did not bother them back!

Excellent view of Lake Huron and island a few miles offshore. Castle Rock towering upward toward the sky is a mile north. Very appealing town. Easy access to I-75.
