This property is quite outdated. For the price per night being comparable to a more updated and accommodating hotel, I was quite disappointed with this option. Hot tub and pool both had cloudy water, very limited seating and short serving time for breakfast. Toilet was very low to the ground making very difficult to sit and stand. Refrigerator didn’t work and no microwave in room.

We loved that the hotel was clean and affordable. This hotel is authentic. It isn't a sterile corporate environment and the people that own it and run it are real people that live in the community. Everyone was down to earth and friendly. Every room is beach front and it just really felt like home base. I highly recommend the suites. We had such a wonderful time. It was so nice just to come home to a clean room, friendly service, comfy beds and an amazing view! Definitely we will come back next year! Room 149 os where we were and goodness! That firm matress was a welcome friend after a long day of activities! 10/10, we will visit again!

We had a great stay this past weekend. When we checked in I asked if they had a room with a sleep sofa also as we ended up having an extra person with us. They had a larger room and upgraded us to a two bedroom with a living room for a very very resonable rate. The staff at check in were very friendly and helpful and answered any questions I had about things in the area. When we entered the room we were very suprised at how nice the room was. Room was very clean and everything worked great. Beds were all very comfortable and the view from both of the balconies was great. The only thing that could use updating maybe was the bathroom but it did not look bad at all just a little dated. We are probably going back to the area in October and will definitely be staying here again.

The area and lakefront is beautiful. The place has so much potential but could use a little updating in some of the rooms and definitely a little upkeep on the grass and beach. Couldn’t walk two steps without stepping in seagull poop. It’s hard to play cornhole and use some other amenities because you’re too worried about everything getting dropped in poop. Besides these it’s a wonderful place right on the lake to stay!!

Great stay overall

Great stay, right on the water with a great view. Close to everything. Would definitely stay here again. My only complaint was the pillows were too bulky and the coffee wasn’t good so we had to go to the local coffee shop.

No air conditioning in hallways. For an asthmatic this was difficult to manage. Older hotel, but very clean. Bring water shoes, beach is rocky.

Not the friendliest front desk person. Expedia confirmed a top floor room for us, upon check-in we were told that Expedia did that not the hotel so we did not get a top floor. Of course we had an elephant above us. No luggage carts available, and we are on the far end of the hotel from the lobby, there may have been some there but had to make multiple trips. Saint Ignace hotels are expensive, but you may want to consider the extra for a nicer hotel.

This property stated newly remodled. However, the tubs were not changed out and was old and stained. They do not clean the rooms or empty trash. When I ask for clean towels after 2 days, the gentleman at the desk was rude. Others had been before me asking for towels. He told them to put towels in the hall to get washed. He told me to bring the dirty towels down. Which I did not do.
