Great place to stay on a budget. This is our fourth stay at The Smart Stay Inn. It's clean, family friendly and conveniently located to shopping, restaurants and going to the Old Town area of St. Augustine, Florida. We will definitely be staying here again.

Not worth the money!

Extremely dated had an adjoining door to the next room could hear everything above and on either side of the room. Parking lot very busy late Into the Night people talking loudly arguing and someone doing mechanic work right outside our door until about 2:00 a.m. that uncomfortable pillows terrible absolutely not what was promised. Half took exceptionally long at checkout could not find reservation extremely disappointing stay so many other choices in the area wish we had not believed the reviews. Absolutely ruined a quick overnight stay!

I was very impressed with this hotel brand, the room was modern, and clean with a fridge/freezer microwave and coffee maker... Nice size fenced in doggie area... I enjoyed the hot breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage and make your own waffles... The staff were welcoming and hospitable, I would definitely stay here again.

Clean & quiet, too far if you want to be downtown

The building appears to be a renovated Motel 6. The property has been upgraded and is actually quite nice. All new furnishings in the lobby and room. There’s a small fenced, off-leash area, playground and a clean pool. The only drawbacks for us are that it’s about 5 miles from downtown but it is conveniently next to I-95 and you can’t leave a dog alone in the room for any amount of time, not even in their cage.
