TERRIBLE!! This is NOT a safe place for families to stay out. My room smelled like mold , roaches in the bathroom and our bed sheets was dirty and bed was not bad. Not a clean environment

The worst place I’ve ever stayed. We booked another hotel and left immediately. I didn’t think a hotel could be this disgusting—stained sheets with dog paw prints, filthy doors, walls, and even the ceiling. To top it off, a small plant was literally growing out of the sink drain. Absolutely awful!

When we first arrived it didn't look safe, it appears people actually live there. The room I was given had poor lighting and the furniture looked old and second hand. The cable box attached to the television did not work, I was moved to another room. The second room looked a little better but it smelled like smoking was allowed in the room. It is a great location and close to the main spots (all at walking distance). We made the best of it, after all we were only spending the night. The office staff was friendly. I do not plan on returning

Rooms were dirty. Floors not swept or mopped, stained shower walls, curtain and towel. Walked in saw the room and walked right back out. Save your time and money, stay somewhere else.

We enjoyed our stay at Castillo Inn. For the price we paid, I would say it met our expectations. We have made our suggestions to the property and are looking forward to staying there again to see their improvements.

The guys at the front desk was super nice but the hotel itself was not at all what the pictures show. We had to ask for a refrigerator to be put in the room as well as a working microwave. The sheets had blood stains and other stains on them as did the towels and pillows. Only 1 light in the room worked the bathroom door didn’t close and there was no hot water. The rooms definitely were not at all what the pictures posted showed and not at all worth the money spent on the room.

O start!!! I regret trusting Expedia. Castillo Inn is not what Expedia shows in the photos. A poor quality hotel, room filthy and in disrepair, dirty sheets, and walls in bad condition. I had to buy pillows, sheets, towels, I had to buy disinfectant cleaner because it was so disgusting. I came to the room at 9:30 pm, at 11:00 pm just one hour and half later, I had to leave the room because it had an unpleasant smell and I started with a bad allergy. I called the person in charge to tell them how dirty the room was and how bad it smelled and their response was "leave the key inside the room." They didn't even apologize for the poor service and bad condition of the room.

The room was absolutely disgusting. I have my son with me. Non smoking room, but the moment I walked in I was blasted with a pungent odor or cigarette smoke. Tried turning on 2 light, the wall light and the first lamp. Neither turned on. Then the bedside lamp finally did. After the light, I looked in the corner of the room, to what look like hasn't been swept in weeks. Stains on the sides of the bed/mattresses, and hair on them underneath. Seashells, at least 5 of them, in the corner behind the mini fridge. Cords just strown in front of the TV connecting it to cable. Absolutely not. I will not have my son stay in this room. All the reviews were right, avoid at all costs.

The hotel is in poor condition, as far as cosmetics is concerned. Needs a serious paint job. There was no hot water in the hotel room. The manager did not seem to care or answer the door in a timely manner. We will never stay there again, I rather pay more for a hotel then save money at a poorly operated hotel.
