Could be better. This property has such potential. Staff in the pub were excellent. Staff at check in were okay. They met all requests, were informative but not super friendly. Rooms definitely need to be updated and have a thorough clean. Again, this place has such a great cottage feel that they need to lean in to.

The sauna that was advertised was out of order, the bar/restaurant closed early, the coffee maker in the room didn’t work, and there was an unknown stain on the bed sheets. The front desk worker came and replaced the sheets quickly and apologized.

No heat in room, hot water in shower was just above luke warm. Was offered another room if water temp did not change but was ok in morning and thats when i noticed the heat was not working. Breakfast layout was poor. Hot water provided but no cups, butter provided no spreading knife. This is common sense stuff people. Get it right

The heating unit in the room, although apparently new, is very noisy and has to be turned off at night, so the room gets cold. There was no hot water at night, nor in the morning for my shower. At best the water could be described as lukewarm. Having said that, the room was clean and quiet.

We didn't need the air conditioning as it was a coolish day. We were able to register around 3:30 PM with access to our room right then. Room was clean and neat. We went to the onsite restaurant for appetizers and pre dinner drinks, then returned at our reservation time for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed our time in the restaurant. Service was great, with very friendly staff and all the food was super tasty!
