not worth it

The lodge was underwhelming. The room was very dated and not that comfortable. The breakfast room was very cramped and they did not bother to clean the tables. Very disappointed overall because we thought it would be much better.

Not bad of a stay but definitely needs updated. Also, highly do not recommend room 112, first room by the pool and gym. Was very late before I was able to get to sleep due to noise. The pool was not properly cleaned and treated, very cloudy water and the hot tub… the jets are on the bottom and we kept getting face fulls of water. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable either.

Great Option in BPS Hometown

Solid hotel for a quick stay. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Fun “Bass Pro” cabin decor was a nice change from agreeable grey prefab business hotels. Great price. From desk staff were very nice.

Arrived on Thursday September 4 and stayed until Monday September 8. During this entire period Waffle making machine was out of order and Breakfast advertised and included in the booking price was incomplete. Not a good look for the lodge !

We stayed here for a night to attend a college football game. It happened to be the best value pet-friendly lodging for that weekend, which is why I selected the Angler’s Lodge. They were very welcoming of our dog, providing snacks and a special door hanger for him. They had a dog park and waste receptacles, which I appreciated. The rooms are a bit dated and average but were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a bonus, pretty standard fare for hotels that offer free breakfast. Fitness room offered slightly more than most within this price range and included a cable machine. Pool and hot tub area were visible and right next to front desk, and rather small - however we did not use this amenity. Parking was ample, however on a Saturday night we could hear loud cars and motorcycles from our room. Wasn’t a huge deal for us but may be for some. Otherwise pleasant stay and we would stay again if the price remains the same.

The property was close to the aquarium and other shopping. The pictures of the property were beautiful, but the reality of the property was not. $200 per night was WAY overpriced. There was absolutely nothing special about this place. No microwave in room, no bathroom trash can, no shelves in shower, water pressure low, VERY small bathroom and room area, a/c unit knocked and was loud. Swim area was very small and only 2 tables. Room was clean and staff was pleasant. Overall satisfaction, 1 star
