I stopped here due to an Emergency snow storm. Not many options in the area!
I knew from the app, that this would not be a 5 Star place but I just needed something safe and warm till snow plows could get out and take care of the roads.
When I got there the Front desk lady was very friendly, as she told me that MY 1 Bed king room was ready and waiting with only cold water. She so easily advised me that due to the weather outside, "MY,1 Bed King room" had great working COLD water options because there is no hot water in MY king room. ?? what?
So was ALL the hot water out and I need to ask for a Refund??
I had to forcefully ask if ANY other available ROOM had hot water and be worth the 100.00 vs sleeping at the gas station.
She explained that the other rooms (same price of 100.00) did have hot running water, BUT unfortunately had 2 beds and I was only 1 Person.
After a very confusing conversation- advising her that I would like ANY room that has the important amenities', like hot water in a blizzard, I had to advise her that I would "permit" that other bed to stay in the room, even if unused. ??
Thank goodness I had the 2 beds!! The sheets and blankets were SUPER thin and the heater was crap, I used all the bedding from both beds to stay warm.
She then told me I would have to go across the street to get cash for the 10.00 pet fee because she didn't want to use her card reader.
ATM fee was 6.00 there and 3.00 with my bank.
The parking lot and walkways were unusable.
