The first room was covered in dust, food, pubic hair. The staff however upgraded us and was kind and fast. Of course front desk has nothing to do with housekeeping. The suite was cleaner but still covered in dust, handprints all over the glass (which was all tables + mirrors) the mirrors up high for sink and bathroom were smeared. There was that orange buildup on the shower and the tub had a dirt ring and the jets shot out gunk. Limited free tv. No spare blankets which is ok but it was for the 2nd bed so he just took the throw. Beds were extremely soft. I only mention for people with back issues. Didn’t use the pools due to time constraints but saw a mom use pool and the splash pad but no one else any of the times we went by. Security to let you into the lot and gates which is nice due to all of the surrounding area. Convenient off the interstate. They have a little store we didn’t use it though. Spread out hotel with 1 parking lot. Staff was fantastic. Breakfast was okay similar to a holiday inn.

Cons: Room a/c unit needs to be cleaned. Woke up with the worst headache and stuffy nose until I left. We picked the hotel primarily because of the awesome indoor pool, however a baby had gone to the restroom in the pool and it was closed when we were able to go because they had to clean. So that was a bummer. We were not told we could access our room easier by outside door. Had to walk a long way to get to room Pros: Great breakfast buffet that is included in the price of your room. Bathroom was nice. Staff was very nice.

The hotel was sort of island themed. It was really an unexpected nice surprise. So much so that we booked for more nights that originally planned, once we saw the actual property. Its very unique and has a private beach resort feel even though its a few minutes from the interstate.

Our stay was great. I would definitely stay here again. Very clean, smelled really good, relaxing atmosphere and has a great shower! Only thing I would change is putting the hot tub back at the pool in place of the kids splash pad.
